Initially, the centre will be open for three days a week from 8:30 to 4:30. There will be a soft launch in September, followed by a grand opening on October 1st, 2022. “We are very excited about opening our new location at New Halton, a process which has taken a lot of time, effort, and investment to bring to fruition,” said a spokesperson for the Atwell Centre board of directors. “We identified the Halton Area as somewhere that would benefit from our range of services and then set about trying to find the perfect premises to meet the needs of our clients and staff. We chose 154 Church St. in Oakville, ON, because of its wonderful location; it is central to Halton as a whole (Mississauga, Milton, Burlington, and Oakville). It is just off Trafalgar, which is home to Sheridan College, and downtown Oakville is frequented by all age groups. There is plenty of parking available, and it is also close to a school and community centre.
