Our COVID-19 Response

If you are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms, including cough, shortness of breath, fever, sore throat, runny nose, nasal congestion, or tiredness, please do not call or make an appointment. See for https://www.hamilton.ca/coronavirus for up-to-date instructions.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected everyone in a significant way. However, we know that you are still in need of vital supports and services that we can offer at this time. As such, we are committed to offering essential care to you.

We will be open to clients Monday – Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 PM for all services.

To keep you, our staff, and our volunteers safe, we have increased our cleaning procedures. We also pre-screen all clients for cold and flu symptoms before each appointment.

Staff or volunteers experiencing cold or flu symptoms are asked to stay at home and self-isolate for 10 days or until symptoms disappear or produce a negative test. During appointments, we will limit the staff that you will see to those essential for care. When at all possible, we will maintain proper social/physical distancing from you.

Masks are essential for care providers and clients. We will offer you a disposable or cloth mask that you can keep on your arrival for your appointment.

From time to time, out of an abundance of caution during the Covid-19 pandemic, our office may close for possible exposures, deep cleaning or other related precautions. Please check the online scheduler for available appointment times. If a suspected Covid-19 exposure has occurred, clients will be contacted privately to ensure client confidentiality is protected.

Please contact us at info@atwellcentre.ca if you have additional questions.
